During our trip to Berlin, we visited the " Film Park Babelsberg " in Potsdam.
The park opened at 10 clock - on time as we were, and still found plenty of free space on the park for a parking space of the costs 3 € per day.

The funds were quite empty, so we quickly into the hands of our tickets came before the school classes anrollten. is 20 € entrance not cheap, but well worth it as we should see at the end of the day.
We started our tour with the 4-D action film. After a short wait we were, equipped with 3D glasses out into a room where you take on hydraulically-controlled seat benches. As in a carousel will be strapped in and experience different 3D movies (in our case it was "Haunted Mine"). By shaking the seats, the produced wind and fog, it was really quite a hell of a ride :-) As long as one looks at the screen, it's a pretty realtitäsnaher effect.
The next attraction, you can admire is the film Animal Show. Here we have some (more or less) to admire famous pigs, toads, horses and dogs, as they gave samples of their various film roles for the best.
Our route took us past a medieval town that still serves as an outdoor setting for film productions.
"The Garden of Little Muck "were constructed from original film in Park:
We came to our personal highlight - the outdoor set GZSZ
Some days it is quite possible that you may live, if it is shot on location. Whether you are caught such a day, we learn, however, until the day of the visit.

We were unfortunately " only "see the benefit to the scene without actors. Still, it was very interesting and we does the series (we come out here sometimes as a potential target group) with different eyes.
We learned some interesting things: There are, for example, three different skewers for the kebab shop and exchanged, depending on what time of day does the sequence.
course does live on site all much smaller than on TV.
photos from the set you could not make a, because 6 weeks is produced in advance and so may sometimes have scenes are constructed, which are thus not shown on television.
Also visitors can get a tour of to make the media center. This leads you past are in office buildings where the interior sets of various series (unfortunately you can not visit them), historic buildings, and finally a further, huge exterior set.
This was built among other films such as "Sun Alley", "The Tunnel", "The Pianist" or for known advertising pictures.
In "TV Studio 1", the audience experiences how television is made. People in the audience are selected to read there, then, for example the weather, or play a scene from GZSZ, in a purpose built setting of a bar in the series. Only the something self-loving host of the event tarnished the pleasure a little.

Our Rating:
On the whole we liked it quite well, but many attractions are very much geared to children and families and were therefore we are not so interesting. Nevertheless justify the sometimes very elaborate shows and the opportunity to look behind the scenes to throw the television the rather high entry price.
