This weekend was our trip to Hamburg. After a visit from Hagenbeck Animal Park (report to follow), we attended the afternoon the miniature wonderland in the warehouse district. According to the homepage there should be no afternoon there waiting, and in general was rather recommend the afternoon / evening as visiting time.
at the box office, we had to wait and were not quickly our cards (12 € per person). In general it was very crowded but we managed to get hold of one of the last deposit in the toilets at the entrance of the exhibition. For this we need a Euro deposit and a whole serving of force, because the locker was hardly close :-)
After a visit to the (well-maintained) Toilets We began our tour in Switzerland. Here we bought a piece of chocolate as the first in which we pushed a couple little children of the reconstructed Lindt chocolate factory ;-) click of a button you get there, namely a piece of delicious milk chocolate.
general changes in the miniature wonderland of day-night rhythm of about every 10 minutes using different colored fluorescent lights. So you can admire each "world" (Switzerland, resin, Alps, Austria, Hamburg, America, Scandinavia, Knuffingen and an airport under construction) in daylight, at dusk and at night. At night it is to shoot heavier, but the live impression then the lights much better.
general, it was quite crowded around the individual worlds, so we had to sneak a place to take pictures ... but it was probably in relation to the morning quite empty.
, Switzerland begins in the lower level, on which also the entrance and a (fairly priced) restaurant. Then it goes "through Switzerland" in the upper floor, which then are in the many worlds.
The airport is currently under construction, so we were lucky to take some pictures, sitting on which no employees on the runway; -) In May, he will be ready. It is also otherwise be built on and on, Italy and France are also being planned.
All worlds are designed with great attention to detail. Whether it is a small cemetery (with the Grim Reaper and vault), a hiking trip, a few cows or events now - details can be found everywhere.
addition, simulated a lot of big events:
We got things to see, we'll see because of our Flugabneigung probably never live ...
Finally, we made a little trip to Scandinavia, where even a cruise ship floated on real water.
After about 1.5 hours we were with the visit finished and pretty much broken by a run-Marathon (previously we had visited the zoo). That kept us but not on a subsequent visit to stroll through the city and Ikea. Phew.
Rating:
On the whole we really liked the show would work with fewer people, of course, much more beautiful. Would it have been more crowded (and at other times it is yes), would it not worthwhile for us. The worlds are but great and lovely and you can see that the staff make this with much passion. Above all rail fans get their money! In general, the exhibition is suitable in any event for children and adults - the children can use to push big wheels, lifts and chair lifts and adults delight in the details of the facilities.
