I do gonna be a break
When I was in the summer with my wife in Paris, I thought so, that a city with tradition and the past has something great in itself. It can be seen on every street corner, something beautiful. After three days, but enough of art nouveau and modern, it was repeated. The sights that we looked at were simply spread too far, so that took days to see (almost) everything. View
Now I'm here in the much smaller Zurich and had my first weekend walk made by the city. And now I can confidently say only the Paris suburb of Zurich in terms of sights. At every corner in the old town you can see something new the old. So well restored old buildings I have ever seen before. Well, Quedlinburg or Trier are comparable, but they look as if they were made for the tourist deal. Not so here in Zurich. It is widely used and beautiful. How the Swiss do it is beyond me.
I have here some pictures, but the real impression that they provide in any way. There is so much to the tourists and the Swiss dialect, the air - incredible how clear they compare with Berlin or Paris - the noise generated by the streetcar (tram) and the seagulls.
And yet I will be glad to be home in two weeks.
